A Tribute to the Fab 4 Before They Were Fab

Between July 6,1957 (the day Paul met John met George) and August 18,1962, the day that Ringo Starr joined the band, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison along with various other members, (most notably Pete Best) spent five years preparing themselves to become the most famous rock and roll band in history, The Beatles.

After years of learning, practicing, living and dying (Stu Sutcliffe), the remaining four Beatles, John, Paul, George and, Ringo finished off their final days of greased Elvis hair cuts, Gene Vincent leathers and obscurity honoring the last of their contractual dates in the dank clubs of Liverpool, England and the even danker clubs of Hamburg, Germany.

One month after Ringo joined The Beatles, the group went to Abbey Road studio’s in London and recorded Love Me Do. With that records moderate success and their last club contracts honored, they were taken back to Abbey Road studio’s where they recorded their first number one hit, Please Please Me and the associated album which was released on March 22,1963 changing the four lad’s lives forever more.

The Standard Show

The “The Hamburg Beat” is a two part theatrical recreation. The first set recreates the last days of the leather clad lads bar shows. This set includes the character recreations of Stu Sutcliffe and Pete Best on bass and drums. The second set is your choice. It’s now 1964 and with Pete and Stu gone from the group and Ringo Starr as their drummer, the band will create a “Beatlemainia” show for you with all of the Beatles hits, including She Loves You, I Want to Hold Your Hand, A Hard Days Night, Twist & Shout and many others. Combine these two sets together and you get what is considered the most unique Beatles Tribute Show in the entire world.
